I was hoping that someone on this thread would be able to lead me in the right direction. I would like a flock of Salmon Favorelles. These would be just for my personal flock. I appreciate the quality from breeders and would prefer these over hatchery stock. But, I may not have much for options...

I used coconut oil on my chickens this Spring and was so happy and shocked with how well it worked! I treated twice and haven't seen lice since. Yippee! The only draw back was that my chickens have had bare butts ever since. It's almost like they liked the taste of the coconut oil so they ate...

I doubled checked again and see NO lice. Thank goodness. Ok, I get it. I will treat the entire flock with the paste. Will the paste get rid of both types of worms I have or should I treat with more than one wormer?

Well, I just went to check on the chickens and noticed some different worms in the poop!! Ewwwww! These were hair like, almost clear, short and flopping around. I feel sick. What next?!

Thanks for the info! I plan to buy the paste and hopefully figure out which chickens have tapeworms. Funny how they always poop until you are waiting and watching for it! Does it make sense to only treat the ones that have tapeworms? My chickens are 8 months and I've never done a general wormer...
