Well they were going to slaughter them, but never got around to it and after a while the ag teacher got attached and decided they needed a better home so he gave them to me. Also they tried to breed with my leghorns but they were too slow to catch up to them.

So my broody is hatching eggs and I was going to take her to poop yesterday but I saw a pip so I left her be. Now she has 2 chicks but I want to know if its dangerous that she hasn't pooped.
Yes she's sitting on eggs and I would say she's about day 5 today. She growled at a hen while it was laying eggs in the next box so at least she's alert and I have 2 roosters so the eggs are fertile. That's her in my profile picture.
I have recently had one of my tiny hens go broody, which I am fine with, but it seems like today and yesterday she was in like a trance. She doesn't want to eat or drink and strangely doesn't react when I touch her. Help!
