Thank you. I haven't been able to find it myself.

    ISO Cream Legbar Pullets

I essentially lost my only cream legbar pullet and I'm hoping to get another or a couple. I would prefer anything over 3 weeks old, as my birds are all 9-12 weeks. I'm in central PA and would prefer to pick up if possible.

    ISO Cream Legbar Pullet

I essentially lost my only cream legbar pullet and I'm hoping to find another. Doesn't have to be laying age. My other birds are 9-12 weeks old. Central Pennsylvania is my location and I'd prefer to pick up if possible.

Not with the crusty edge, but yes.

    Chick not growing feathers??

I truly hope that's the case, but I'm still worried. At this rate I don't know how to keep decreasing the brooder temperature with her not being feathered, and she's too big and feisty to put with my younger chicks.

    Chick not growing feathers??

Thank you, I will do that then.

    Chick not growing feathers??

She pooped very shortly after this photo was taken and it looked just like adult hen poop, just smaller. I'm actually wondering if that in itself is normal now that I think about it. No yeasty or otherwise strange smell that I've noticed. They are only fed their chick starter/grower. Nutrena...

    Chick not growing feathers??

This chick will be four weeks old on Monday, and yet it has nearly no feathers at all. I'm not sure on breed, as I ordered Welsummers, a Brown Leghorn, and a Speckled Sussex, so it could be any of those. I know they say roosters sometimes feather slower than hens, but this is "supposed to be"...

    Coop for mostly free-range chickens?

Climate was my main concern. I didn't realize I hadn't put a location on. I'm in Pennsylvania, so the winters get quite cold. The guineas do alright, but I feel like the chickens would rather have a warm place to escape the wind and chill. I guess I'll have to start figuring out a plan for...

    Coop for mostly free-range chickens?

I'm new to chickens specifically. I've only had ducks and guineas, but decided to pick up six buff orpington pullets to raise with my guinea keets. They're still in the brooder, but I'm trying to plan for moving them outside. My chickens and guineas will be free range during the day and shut in...

    Can this chick be saved?

    Picture links didn't work.

    Can this chick be saved?

It's actually a guinea keet, but I don't think that makes much difference. I waited too long to assist this little guy in hatching, and I think that's what caused this problem. I don't think this is spraddle leg. It seems more serious than that. The toes are very curled and resistant to...

    Is this spraddle leg?

The leg will bend, but the toes don't, at least not enough. I can spread the toes, but when I try to straighten them out they will only straighten so far. It leaves them still very claw-like. Two of the other keets also have crooked toes, but those are more easily managed. These guys are just...

    Is this spraddle leg?

The keet I posted above is much better today. Running around normally now, but I have a keet that needed help to hatch, and I fear I waited too long to help. It has very curled toes and one leg wants to stick out straight behind it and the poor thing can't get off it's side. I'm trying to figure...

    Is this spraddle leg?

I think this may have happened due to the prolonged hatching process. From what I've read, that can contribute to it. The incubator has a nonslip surface, and this baby was having issues straight from the incubator. It doesn't seem to be having as much difficulty right now, but I'm still going...
