I have a small flock of 1 drake, Curly Richard, and 6 hens, all welsh harlequins. Our ducks free range throughout the day, and accost anyone approaching the house trying to convince the human that they are starved. These ducks have decreased our mosquito population tremendously. They are a great breed and wonderfully comical to watch.
