Thats what I thought. I am not a pro but I thought this one was an easy call. The only thing that left me questioning is that he is 13ish weeks and hasn't made a peep. He still has time though.
I want ask the BCM pros here. I was 100% sure that my Marie was in fact a Mario. I posted him in a group to be rehomed and a few people chimed in saying that he may be a she with poor coloring. Another said it appeared to be a hermaphrodite and that happens with chickens. I am very new to all of...
Another update. It appears we have 4 Pullets, 1 Cockerel, and 1 I am still really questioning.
Marie has been renamed Mario and is looking for a new home. Skylar has me changing my guess every day. Still no crowing from any of them. They are all between 11 and 14 weeks now.
11 weeks old. My favorite of the flock and I'm fearing it may be a roo. I was originally told he/she was an Ameraucana but I'm thinking an EE. Is she really a he?
Location: Corona, California
Roosters name: Marie...now Mario
Breed: French Black Copper Maran
Age: 11 weeks
Details: beautiful boy that I am so sad to have to rehome but we are not allowed to have roosters. He has not begun to crow yet. He is very friendly with people but a bit bossy with his...

Hoping Dottie is a pullet.
Somewhat confident that Star is a pullet.
Same with Hope. Guessing pullet.
Olive is looking pullet as well, yay!
Lastly, I fear Skylar is also a rooster. Sad day
They are all between 8 and 11 weeks. What do...
No she did not. She was an all yellow chick and now pure white other than in her tail. I really hope the guys didn't lie. He seemed very knowledgeable.
We just started a new little flock. We have had chickens in the past but never as chicks. This is stressful haha.
Help us determine how many need to be served an eviction notice. Details about each chick will be included under each picture.
Dottie is our itty bitty baby.
She is an Ameracauna and...
