I received my Buff Orpingtons March 28th. 1 or 2 days old. So they are just over 3 months old. When should I expect egg production?

As long as the temp is comfortable. Those little chicks will run everywhere if you let them loose wild.

Question: When my chicks grow to be large enough to lay eggs, do I close my Chicken coop door every night when they go in to roost for the night, or do I just keep it open all the time?
