Thanks - think I am going to halve the pen/pool area for now. am worried that her eye is not improving with bathing and antibiotics so will probably return to the vet. It is very hard around the outside of the eye and I have never had this before with a duck.

Just an update as had the vet out (not specifically for the chookies though!) and as I suspected they have scaly leg mite which has not been killed by treating them with the powder I had bought from the local animal stores. I have to pick up some spray which is the same as Frontline for cats...
