Thanks for the information. I have no problem waithing until next spring. Everyone was asking so I figured I would just see if there was an easier way to tell. They are quite interesting little/big guys they make me laugh regularly.
I have 3 pekins ducklings. They are 2 weeks old. I just recently noticed that one of them legs are bowed out at the hip joint. My other ducklings of different breeds are fine. Any help/advise?
Thanks
I have 2 Giant Dewlap Touluse Goose eggs in the incubator. I'm unsure how long it takes for tehm to hatch. Today is 26 days and they still look good when i candle them.

Does anyone know how long it takes for Giant Dewlap Tolouse Goose eggs to hatch? The only information I could find was in general 28-35 days. There at 26 days and still looking good.
I have 7 runners...Fudge, Corriander, Daisy, Heathcliff, Brownie, Lily, Petunia and one mallard..Birdie. With one lonely snowy call that i haven't named yet.
I have hatched ducks for the past 4 years and have good success with the chick starter for Tractor Supply. It's the starter/grower that I start them on the second day after hatching. I put mine in to swim in my bathtub when they are a week old with only enough water for them to stand in for...
My eggs have been in for 27 days and have been progessing right along but now I'm concerned that they have stopped. I can't see them move in the eggs and there has been no hatching activity. I don't know if I should give them a few more days or take them out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
