Happy to report that she is in fact a hen, and is now laying me a beautiful pink egg... was hoping for blue but that did not happen. Her temperament has DEFINITELY mellowed out and is now a happy, friendly part of the flock. She comes running for treats with the others and is well mannered...
Happy to report all three polish are healthy, and beautiful GIRLS! Much relief on that one... all are feathered in and full size. Now if only I'd start getting some eggs.....
Sorry to say, that is most likely a roo baby. The comb is large and red for that age. Just keep an eye out for crowing around 4-5 weeks. But it is hard to tell
