I can confirm, that chicken loves pears. Whole or sliced, usually they got offcuts only. Peeling will not reduce amount of pesticides, except what was removed with skin.

99.5 is very low temperature. You should start from 102.2 for the first 3 days, then drop to 101.3 and bring to your 99.5 for last two days.
