Matt, I am trying to find two to four pullets or young RIR hens of the old Mohawk line. I thought I had RIR chicks but they are production reds. After going to the show and a week of reading, especially the" Heritage Rhode Island Red" thread on BYC, I know what I am looking for and will replace my production red chicks. The Panhandle Poultry show was my first and I did not know anyone there or who to look for. I did see some beautiful RIRs there and knew then my birds were not what I thought I had. You are in my general area and Robert Blosl wrote that you have the old Mohawk line. Please let me know if or when you will have sexed chicks, pullets or hens available.
