Wondering if there's a market.... Upstate, NY

I was wandering around the local feed store the other day and was amazed to see a little chicken tractor that might have been big enough for one or two birds selling for over a hundred and twenty dollars... It was cheaply made and poorly designed. Think there would be a market for better...

Will they be OK? I have 10 hens and they together ate about 3/4 of a 5lb bag of purina puppy food...

Finding a plucker in Central Upstate, NY

We've got about 50 birds to do between my friend and I and decided it would be a lot easier if we had a plucker. Problem is, neither of us know where we can rent one. Anybody in the Cortland, Syracuse, Binghamton area know where we could rent one?

I wanna see the chickies uncle Max....

My Nephew Christopher LOVES the "chitties." So naturally being Easter(or any other time), I was happy to oblige. "Brahma Baby" is the most low key, gentlest hen I've ever seen!!

    Peacock for tying flies

Ya, they're still around. $$$$ The stuff they have is usually pretty good. Never bought any of their rods or reels because of the cost. Kinda like the BMW or Mercedes of the fly fishing world.

    I didn't think Cornish X's would forage...

Well shoot, I'm happy as... "a cornish X at the feed trough!" I let them out this morning. They were running all over, pecking this pecking that, and having a grass salad for breakfast. They love it!!

    I didn't think Cornish X's would forage...

Somewhere I read all Cornish X's did was sit and wait for you to feed them. They wouldn't forage like traditional birds would. Today I noticed one of them in the tractor chasing after a fly. So I let them out. They're going all over pecking, eating grass, scratching the dirt... I guess I...

    Bloody chicken poo

I walked outside just now and noticed a pile of chicken poo with blood in it. I know this can't be good. Any ideas what might cause that? I'm still trying to track down who it is.
