Townline hatchery is in Zealand and they have a minimum order of 25 when they ship chicks. However, I have contacted them and asked about local pickup of smaller orders. They were willing to work with me, so if they aren't too far from you give them a call and ask.

This one actually makes perfect sense since Google and several car manufacturers are testing fully automated/driverless cars. I am sure michigan has a similar law since I believe those same manufacturers are doing cold weather testing of said systems here.

I don't believe the extra $50 software is needed unless you want to integrate multiple cameras, receive text message alerts, or compress the video file sizes so that they take up less space on your PC.

Even better than a game camera would be something like a wireless internet connected camera with night vision, like this like this it would allow you to view chicks from any device with internet access, even while traveling. At just $65 I plan to have one in my coop once I'm done building it.

Since I am new to this chicken raising thing, this may seem like a dumb question to you more seasoned folks. How do you know which chickens laid what eggs? Many of you seem to know which one have you which eggs. Do you all have wireless cameras mounted in your coops?
