The chicks are nestled under their foster hen's wings (peeking out when I call to them) and appear to be doing very well! I am a happy girl!! =)

I have two broody hens and I hope they will accept the 4- two day old chicks tonight. Question: These brooding hens are on opposite ends of the pecking order scale. Should I split the babies between the two or put them under just one? What would you do and which hen would you put them under...

All my hens are molting but I still get 7 - 9 large eggs per day. The girls are about 8 months old and we get down in to the 30's at night. I feel pretty lucky. This is today's harvest.
