1 and 5 are hens, 3 is a roo but super slow maturing. 2 and 4 got sold so I don’t know what they ended up being. One other got sold that was a hen (not pictured last time but had a reddish tent
I don’t suspect slash because it isn’t yellow, it’s a light silver color. Although I am still very new to the BBS chicks. I don’t know what color variety blues can be for chicks. It stood out to me cause all the other blues I have are much darker. I will take better pictures tonight.

I just hatched some BBS copper marans and one of the chicks is a lot lighter than the other blues. Could it be a self blue? Can self blues come from BBS? I got the eggs from a breeder so I don’t know the parent stock well.

Update on the Chocolate Silver Laced Orpington chicks. One week old and here is what I have observed.
Pics 1-6 hatched on 1/26. (pic 7 was hatched on 1/28) (pic 6 black chick is not an -Orpington)

Thanks! I messaged the seller and was told there could be all white cockerels due to the genetics… I can’t tell if the lighter ones are going to be white. It seems even the white Orpington chicks display different chick colors…
