this is what they are looking like so far. looks like I have a rooster thats the one in the back his comb is wide and bubbly. they have white in there feathers for sure
I've been reading as much as I can as well I can't wait till they are a little bigger and hopefully try and identify what they are crossed with. I hope they look more barred rock !
I have the same issue I got my chicks from a lady in my neighborhood she has 1 Barred rock rooster and a mixed flock of hens so 2 of my chicks have yellow legs one has blackish legs
So I just got done with my first incubation and I put in about 5 of my Chickens eggs. She happens to lay some very hard eggs and when I did an egg toppsy it was so so hard for me to pip the egg as a chick would. so my question is, is it something that happens often? can a certain chickens eggs...
