Hello, I have a hen who is a little over a year old. Yesterday she jumped down out of the coop (about a 1 foot drop) and face planted it. She walks fine but falls when ever she jumps. Today she is staying "ruffled" up and laying by the waterer drinking a bunch. Not her normal active self...

Here is what I was able to get. He doesn't put any weight on it, only when he loses balance. Even then, it is as if his toes barely graze the ground.

Thank you for the links! I'm not sure what happened, I came out one day and found him like this.... He was about 1 1/2 - 2 months at the time, and it has been about 2 weeks now. It seems he is using it (only for balance) less and less. Can roosters live a good life with only one useful leg?

Bought from the straight run..... ended up with mostly roosters i suspect. 4 known so far. These guys have been handled a lot and are very nice. They are between 8-9 weeks and have just began to crow! Going to keep one but here are a couple pics, still have not decided between the other...
