Double checking make/female would hate to get it wrong

I am not experienced..but as far as I can tell the purple arrows are female.. blue arrow guy on top looks male..not sure about the bottom guy, if he crows, male..(I think that you are correct)..third picture female.

Quail Sexing without "Foam" or Plumage traits...

I can confirm this works..if you put a young male in with a known female then move them to a cage alone..they should crow.

    Silver coturnix sexing

I was hoping that the black dotted feathers under the neck meant that it was female..

    Silver coturnix sexing

I appreciate the knowledge..I believe that it's from a wild pattern, but I don't know because I purchased the eggs at a roadside farm..I never saw the birds or asked what they were..I hatch 4..the other male is definitely wild color.. There is pied as you said because it's on the wingtips and...

    Silver coturnix sexing

My silver is 6 weeks old..has not tried to mount a hen..runs from males..does not fight them..no eggs yet..calm temperament.. attacked by males.. I think that you have to vent sex these, but I was wondering if anyone who knows more than I do (everyone honestly..lol) can tell from looking if...

    Egg camouflage patterns

I wasn't sure if they were different because they were her first eggs, or because the other hen laid it.. she is a British range and can't be feather sexed..

    Egg camouflage patterns

I had my first quail eggs laid..I found an egg when I got up this morning, and I found one this evening. I am not sure if it came from 2 different birds..both looked to have had some changes in their cloacas but I am inexperienced in knowing for sure.. Can you determine by egg patterns?

New to quail, help with colors and sexing.

Appears as though we were all correct in our guesses.. Recently, I hatched another set of eggs that I purchased from a farm when I was out for a drive. I saw a sign that said quail eggs for sale..I asked if he had hatching eggs..he said that he usually doesn't sell them because it might cut...
