I do now! Haha. We’ve been lucky to not have any issues too close with the recent bird flu wave, and now that I’m not hyper aware of that stuff, I didn’t even consider the crows passing anything along! They seem healthy tho, so I guess I’ll research some of it and keep an eye out!

If you don’t have a pond/basin/kiddie pool, that will definitely make them happy. You can throw meal worms or peas into the water for them to fish out, it’s lots of fun. Just keep in mind you’ll need to change the water frequently…
This is an old post, but anyone looking for rescue hens should look up Carolina Waterfowl Rescue - they’re close to Charlotte and often take in large groups of battery hens and other birds for a series of reasons. If you can’t adopt, but empathize with the cause, you can always donate :))
