    :frowHiya! I'm in DubVegas too! Just finished 4th week as new chookie mum to 3 Light Sussex (we call them the Fat Bottomed Girls), and 10 days with 2 Isa Browns, that we're just starting to integrate.

    Always plenty to do around the house and yard!! Hubby and i are still fairly young so we live with my parents with our kids while we save to buy our own house/ hobby farm! Luckily mum and i share all the same interests and shes always liked being fairly sustainable!

    It would be difficult having your grandkids and kids so far away! I know my parents have both said numerous times they are going to miss their grand kids when we eventually move out! Having yours in a different country would be hard!

    We're on 25 acres out Durraween Road way. No town water, and no bore, so it's hard most years, but we love the privacy, space and doing our own thing. Highly recommend the hobby farm life!
