    Whatever cheap 16% layer feed is on sale. I suppose I should increase their protein content for a bit. Also, in the 2 days since my post, she has dropped almost 70% of her feathers. Is it normal to lose so many so suddenly?

    I have a 4 month old bantam chick with a greatly distended crop. Feels just like air. After a few hours in watchful isolation she has not pooped once. I have injectable baytril and also some powder antibiotics i got at the feed store to be put in water. Don't remember what it's called right now...
