Thanks Tricia, he seems to be good. We let him out during the day. He does roost on our picnic table & wanders around our property. I do keep an eye on him considering he's alone. We've been searching for hens nearby, seems everyone has day old chicks. Thank you for your thoughtful words. 🙏

Oh yes of course! Might be a challenge though. However I am keeping my head up. So far I've only seen chicks not hens at least in my area so far.

Hello! I'm Ramona in Heavener, Ok. I currently have 1 rooster. Have had 2 hens that were given to me. I solely raised them for eggs. I've been interested since 2022, so not so long. Looking forward to learning more about breeds especially those good for southeastern part of oklahoma.
