I have 2 roosters that need rehoming. One is a year old mix who is too aggressive with the 3 year old child and the other is an approx. 4 week old australorp that was a whoops from tractor supply.
I got this chick from tractor supply and they said it was a pullet isa brown but I don’t think it is. It seems to have all black feet and I’m hoping it’s a pullet but they like to jump on the other chicks in the brooder. I think it’s about 2-3 weeks old roughly.
I have a day old baby chick that can’t stand up and keeps falling over on their left side. She can move both legs and doesn’t seem to have any foot problems. She falls on he left side and can’t roll back over. She’s lively and loud and this seems to be the only thing wrong.
Including the babies it will be 10 altogether. I plan on giving away the cockerels I just wanted to make sure they were big enough before I started giving them away. The coop I have says it should fit 10 chickens but all of mine are bantams.
I moved them into a different coop because the ladder in the other coop is like 4 feet tall and I didn’t want the babies to fall and hurt themselves. The other flock has been able to see them since they were moved and the coops are only like half a foot away from each other and they have...
These are my golden sebright and old English babies. They were hatched in October and I am wondering if they are old enough to be by themselves. They have been with mom but away from the other chickens in a separate bit next door coop. And if they are, I was wondering how I would introduce them...
My old English hen just had 9 babies with my golden sebright. Does anyone know what they will look like? And do you know if they are sex linked? Some have brown heads and some have white heads. If it matters, old English is momma and sebright is daddy.
Ok. Thanks so much. I was really concerned for her and was worried cause it didn’t look like all of the other ones I had seen. This is my first experience with this so I want to make sure I can take care of her the best I can.
