I make sure they have more than enough of their fill in the morning, which should last them to late afternoon..... then a few hours before they go to bed I load them up again. Seems to be working fine. Trust me, if I could do the feeder route I would, but it is not possible with my open setup...

There's gotta be some sort of Old Wives Remedies to get rid of fly..... I'd imagine fly infestation was prevalent in kitchens back in the old days.

I don't use feeders anymore due to the freeloaders (squirrels & birds) eating most of it..... so I just feed them in the morning by tossing in their feed, and later in the afternoon. Save me a ton of money. I'm sure the squirrels and birds hate my guts for that but oh wells.

I don't think any of them are good, at Day 12 there should be a lot of veining. But ask around, I'm no expert on this.

How did you catch him because you said he was very skittish at first? And how did you carry him while bicycling? Anyway, he might end up as chicken soup if you're trying to give him away.

Our economy is a joke. Have you seen how much vehicles are costing these days? It's ridiculous as hell. And when you're scrolling through ads looking to buy things, people are listing their stuff at a stupid price. Our dollar isn't even worth a dollar any more..... more like fiddy cents...

Just re-use it, I would. I don't see how it will harm the chicks in their incubating process.
