Prolapse in six-month old Easter Egger

It has been a week without a prolapse. She has not resumed laying. I hope she takes a good long break from laying.🤞🏻

Prolapse in six-month old Easter Egger

What is the dose for enrofloxacin in chickens? My six- mo Easter Egger prolapsed multiple times yesterday and I would like to treat her with enrofloxacin so she doesn’t get an infection of the reproductive tract. Thanks.

On Wednesday and Thursday night, I put the pullets on a roost in the coop with the adults. Friday night, they found their way in in their own. I am so happy about it. It’s a milestone.

    Integrating chicks and chickens

After three weeks of having the chicks in a run within the chicken run, I opened the doors to let them integrate. So far the adults are ignoring the babies, and the babies are avoiding the adults, but no instances of bullying yet.🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
