I have been thinking boy but the comb has slowed in developing. Maybe just my wishful thinking.

Sometimes the comb is a little pink then it calms down and is not pink. I am bummed because it was the only egg out of 6 to hatch, I was so hoping to see what kind of egg it would lay from my two birds. First time breeding my own birds. Well, I will hold out hope its a girl for now, but...

The dad is a Easter egger and the mom is a black Cooper marans. This chick hatched out of the egg with a tail already and feathered quickly. In about a week had a lot of feathers. Which made me think pullet. Now the comb is a bit bigger and I am worried. Mom and dad pictures too.

I am trying to see if I can figure out this little chicks gender. 5 weeks old in the pictures.

A friend gave this one too me at a couple days old. No comb developement yet but hardly any tail and stubby little weird wing feathers with white tips. It’s Supposed to be a black Cochin.

Day 20 she has improved. She leans ever so slightly once In Awhile to the right. Otherwise she seems fine. I still give her the vitamin e once a day. When should I pull that back? I was doing twice a day until a few days ago.

Day 9 she seems to be improving. Perhaps she will get through this. Being outside near her siblings seems to help too.

Added. Not vaccinated for mareks

It’s a 8 week old silkie I hatched. She she is in day 8 of head turning. I have outside in a cage next to her hatch mates and she is happier and her head is up a little more than it’s down. She may have gotten knocked about by her hatch mates before we separated her. The others are fine but she...
