Well, as of today, we're at 6 hatched out of 11 eggs. The remaining 5 have no pips, and no rocking. On the day 18 candling, all 11 eggs had the same level of development. Today is day 21, so we're going to give the remaining eggs a few days to try and hatch. I'm happy with 6 if that's all we get...

Cold weather lowered my house temp significantly, and the eggs got down to 97 degrees for several hours. I'm really hoping that they still hatch, but being small silkie eggs, and my first hatch, I'm a bit concerned. Stupid polar vortex.

I'm putting some in the bator and some under a broody silkie on Thursday night or Friday morning. Bator is warmed up and stable, can't wait for the eggs!
