I may be wrong but I carefully break the membrane to let oxygen in. Since the small end doesn’t have the pocket of air that the big does. That air, from my understanding, is for the chick to transition to oxygen and rest to built up strength for piping. I didn’t remove any shell, just...

His neck feathers are definitely green, not blue Go figure????

I called them just now. I actually sent in 3 samples (feathers) The first one was so delayed when Covid broke loose their mail was all messed up and we decided they were gone so I sent in new samples.( They went ahead and tested the late ones) Both tested Male. I started thinking the same way...
