I'm new here, and getting use to everything! I think I posted egg pic to the welcome page or something?! Anyways, she hadn't layed yet, then got out (two yards over) And spent the night out side. After we caught her she layed a huge egg... Se hasn't layed one since though:(

Well I know the EE for sure, and I saw the Ancona lay te white, and the red sex link lay the brown. The dark Cornish was up where I found the beige egg so I'm guessing that's hers.

She came from a heritage group that had te other chickens I posted along with some white leghorns I think.. I tried to google the difference between the two and the thing that makes me lean towards Minorca is that her feathers all look like an oil slick quite green.. And her comb had like a...

Ok, so it looks like I have an Easter egger, brown leghorn, black Minorca, Ancona, dark Cornish, and two red sex links. I'm only getting five eggs a day though, and besides the Easter eggers with the green egg... Who's laying what? All posts say brown or white eggs but I'm also getting beige...

Her name is Blondie and she is so sweet. Whenever we open our patio door she comes running across the lawn at us then squats for us to pet her or pick her up.

Thank you everyone. I will post some pics in "what breed". They are all just starting to lay, we got them when they were about 12 weeks, my have they changed! They just keep getting prettier! I'm on maternity leave and I think I spend more time watching them then my baby:)

We have 5 "heritage" chickens and 2 "commercial" not sure what the difference is though? I will post some pics and would love to know what we have! Only two out of the seven aren't laying yet, and we get brown, white, beige and a blue egg. Thanks in advance...
