Hi, I just discovered that mice got into my chicken starter. I immediately brought it inside and put it in a closed container. It's a brand new 20 kg bag of organic starter....can I still use it to feed the baby chicks or should I better toss it out?? Thanks!

Hi, I just received a shipment of 9 eggs for the incubator. Two of the 9 were broken and their content smeared over most of the other eggs. I read not to wash them but only use paper towels, but the stuff is dried and the paper towels will not remove any of it. I don't have any of the Brinsea...

Thanks for the advice! I opened up both of them as described...one was just an undeveloped egg yolk, the other one a perfectly developed chick with the yolk sack still attached, but unfortunately dead.....:-(( Did I wait to long to interfere? The inner membrane was rather tight around the chick...

Hi, I had 7 eggs in the incubator, five hatched Friday and Saturday. Just did the float test on the remaining two and it seems they are viable, but if I gently tap at the shell there is no response. What shall I do, could they really be still alive? Should I carefully open? Thanks
