Hi everyone having a little trouble keeping baby turkeys alive IDK what I'm doing wrong ??? Ordering some more to try it again .

Sorry haven't been on in awhile

So i got my Silkys the other day ive been cleaning poop off there butts ever since.... Why is the poop collecting on there butts ?????? I run warm water on there butts to losen the poop... Im feeding them medicated food and baby chicken juice .... Maybe thats to much???? Ive never had babies that poop all over there selfs.... HELP

So i ordered a bunch of babies!!!! Im excited some will be here tomorrow and the rest will be here the 2ed .... I ordered Silkys, Frizzle cochin bantams, Duccle bantams, Easter eggers, Naked necks, Crevecoeur, Ancona, and Sultans..... Ill post pics when they get here yayyyy

I'm dont know where to post??? Will my guines come back??? I had them in cage for little over week I let them out and they run away

So my new genies have been locked up for over a week I let them out today and they ran away So my husband went and bought me 6 genie babies.... I put them in with my baby chicks I hope they will stay here when I free them in the yard ....

So I've been doing staggered hatch it's working out great I have babies born every day.... It's hard to keep my incubators clean though, someone is always being born I'm going to put all eggs in one incubator and clean the other then vice versa ... I hope I they dont get a chill ..... I'm up to 100 babies ,there so sweet So far I've kept the varmints out I put tin around the bottom of all coops

So I woke up this morning to a Massacre A Raccoon I think ripped about 50 of my babies through the front of cages through chicken wire, there was body parts everywhere...... So I spent the day adding tin half way up my coops, and set a bunch of live traps I'm soooo heartbroken my poor babies...

So I've still been staggered hatching... It's been going pretty good. The neighbors brought me more eggs to hatch for them finally they all were fertile... The embryos look really good thick veins... I've got about 60 babies now and 2 incubator full . I started to build a new baby cage it was in 80s today HOT lol....

So I had a excellent hatch 46 babies total alot of dominickers .... I've always found them a little aggressive but that's ok ... No Broiler babies idk what happen there , maybe my Broiler roo is to big to make connection when topping hens not sure... Very sad this week I lost 6 hens to varmints, I think I have a couple hawks also creeping around
