Thanks for your response! Okay I will definitely leave them in the coop then. They do go in there at night by themselves and obviously feel safe there so I'll just continue to close the door at night.

Okay I wasn't sure where to post this. But I have some Rhode Island white chickens. There are seven of them. At night they are in the coop then first thing in the morning I open the coop, give them fresh food and water and they have the run for the day until the sun sets and I put them back in...

I found a fantastic cedar-made chicken coop that someone is selling.
Is this okay or should I steer clear of it as well?
