    I love London KY!! — We tried to buy a place there, but it fell through! (Someone came along with a cash offer, damnit).. Still upset about that one that got away! LOL!😉 We’re in Lexington. Nice to meet ya! We’ve got a Backyard Flock of (9), mostly Silkies, although I got a Black Copper Maran hen in there as well for those Dark Eggs :)

    Our Maisie, (hatched April 3rd) laid for the first time 2-days ago. It was quite the event. You could hear egg songs from the whole flock!
    Her was soooo proud; she even had her Mama in there showing her where to lay as well as our young cockerel, that hatched this Spring too, in there for full Support! 🤭🥚😳🪺

    That’s hilarious. I love that egg. I think we will be adding BCM to our flock in the spring.

    You definitely should!! The girl I got Maisie from has a good BCM line going, as she’s just a sweetheart... And, they are soooo velvety soft! I’m surprised at how much every time I pick her up. — She’s funny tho, she doesn’t like to be picked up. But, she loves to be held.
    I keep telling her, “ya gotta get thru the scary part to get to the good stuff!” — Ha! :)
