    I don’t know anything about silkies. Now about the Jersey Giants, if you got them from a hatchery they’ll be smaller than from a breeder. Their nest boxes should be on the floor and their roost bars should be around a foot or two off the ground. Any higher and it can damage their legs while jumping off.

    They’re good layers. They take a while to fill into their bodies so you won’t see the giant part until they’re closer to a year or more. They are known as Gentle Giants so that’s always good.
