Has anyone had experience with Valley Hatchery

I know, I just came upon the hatcheries website yesterday and decided to look them up and stumbled in this thread. But usually old threads do continue if it’s interesting enough. I’ve seen one go on for 10 years now. And if I say something hopefully if the hatchery is still active they’ll get a...

Has anyone had experience with Valley Hatchery

I’m curious as to why use cackle hatchery stock photos for the standard old English game fowl on your site?

Do you need to have permits or licenses to ship eggs out of state

I’ve shipped eggs before and I wasn’t npip. I believe you only have to be npip to ship hatchling and adult birds. Sometimes you get a higher chance of people wanting your birds when you are npip registered even if it’s just eggs. But again, I have read somewhere that not all hatcheries are npip 🤷‍

Farm Innovators Model 4250 geese eggs?

I’m using the still air model of that brand incubator this a exact moment, but with the forced fan kit installed. Along with a external thermostat controller. Don’t over crowd and don’t use the egg turner, you have to turn by hand. Fits 12 geese eggs perfectly. Mine are all on day 22 right now...

Seeking Info on new "Asia Black" Chicken "Breed"

I know it’s an old thread but. Don’t blame tsc, it’s the hatchery to blame eh hem! Hoovers 🤣 it’s true and I agree, I got two Rhode Island reds from them. I’ve got rir in the past before from a different place and they were the true rir. Hoovers rir I believe is to be production red, I say that...

    Incubating Eggs for Balut?

We’ll it’s just a human nature to do so. We can’t judge others for what they eat. At least they don’t eat fast food everyday and chose to eat delicacy as their diet. But anyways, in the meat industry for commercial all the broilers we consume are young chicks, veal, lamb are all young babys. I...

Oh Craigslist, You Amuse Me So!

I love this thread it goes so long 🤣 now I don’t like reading books, but everything was worth going through reading. I guess I have two to add not related to Craig’s though. I kind of laughed. “Expedition” like exhibition?, “Indian road runner ducks” 🤣🤣

    Are these blood rings?

Be careful! At that stage you can kill the developing embryo early by moving it too much, in my opinion. Those aren’t blood rings. You’ll be able to tell if it’s blood ring when the blood vessels turn a very dark line that looks like it’s on the inside of the egg shell, if that makes any sense...

Is strombergs chickens a reliable hatchery?

It’s an old thread but really helps when others are searching in present day. Like me I love finding old threads that’s are “updated” 😂 instead of posting a new thread of the same question. But I honestly think that all hatcheries are third party sellers to anything other than chickens. Like...
