Heres Meep this morning checking out the nesting boxes. She has lots of Silkie characteristics, except has mostly OEGB feathers and just 4 toes.

She had 2 sisters that I wanted but mum wanted a white pure Silkie instead, which is also cute.

By black based I guess I mean a chicken that's mostly black. Like how wyandotte chicks hatch, as little black chicks.
