depending on how good your incubator is, you might need more than a 2 dozen eggs to achieve the results you are hoping for, and in my experiences the heritage RIR dont lay as well as the commercial ones and eat alot of feed

some birds i have Sears Whitehackle claret pumpkin hulsey(larry carter line) have others as well but dont have good photos right now

about what time and how old would they be

color doesnt matter, as long as they are not frizzled or silkied

if you want quality cubalays i would not recommend getting them from ideal, as stated talk to saldin(doc), cuba kid,or gallorojo about getting some quality birds but you might have to wait untill next year they might not have any left also check out the cubalaya thread on here

you can make money if you sell a lot and sell them fast(feed adds up fast) like said most sell quantity not quality some things ive noticed and some tips people are cheap and are going to try and get your brids for almost nothing even if they are quality easter in my parts is the busiest time...
