I have a welded wire, Retriever Lodge Expandable Kennel, 10 ft. L x 5 ft. W x 6 ft. H, TI-095, from Tractor Supply that I use inside my garage in the winter to make two pens for my chickens in the winter. My swing set coop and run was crushed from a large branch during a wind storm last fall...

The gaps are near the base of the coop. I will post photos, hopefully tomorrow. I am hoping to deter rodents and weasels from getting into the coop. I read somewhere that these type of pads were good for this purpose. I am not sure if there are good attachment sites for using hardware cloth.

I have a chicken coop with some gaps. I planned on filling the gaps with metal scrubbies. The scrubbies I found are copper. Can I use these safely with my chickens?

I moved my Silkies (6 of them) to their outdoor coop this week. It was over 70 degrees F today and 56 tonight. The next few days it will be getting colder: Friday (67/48), Saturday (52/34) and Sunday (41/34). Do I need to move the chicks back in when the temp drops to 34 degrees F?
