Hello! I'm from Halifax, Nova Scotia but recently moved to Berwick for my job. I'm also new to BYC and new to chickens in general! I'm getting my first ones in April and I can't wait!

Yep! I really wanted Black Copper Marans, but it's impossible to find them as pullets. So this year I'll be doing blue and olive Easter Eggers and then hopefully added BCM and maybe Chantecler next year. Either as chicks or try and hatch eggs.

That's the plan! Start with 4-6 for this year and if I'm able to eat and give away/sell enough eggs, I'll get more the following year. The "coop" is at least 6x8, if not bigger, but I haven't actually measured it!
