I own 4 of these birds- 3 ladies and one gent. All three of the geese are very sweet girls, and the gander isn't too bad either. He makes a wonderful guard goose! Anytime someone drives up, he lets us know.

The geese all lay a clutch in the late winter/early spring, and make wonderful mothers!

I got this book for my 14th birthday I believe. I've used it many times over. The pages are bookmarked, highlighted, and dog-eared. If you plan on doing all your own vet work for you chickens, then this book is a must have!
