Pros: accessible from both side. Fits a lot of birds
Cons: Can't think of one
This is a quality feeder. The legs "lock" out for feeding taller birds or they can be folded down to accommodate smaller chicks. This feeder should work well for chicks past a couple of weeks old. It hoods a lot of feed. The reel top is great to keep birds out of the trough and from perching on it. This all but eliminates poo from getting into the feed. I like it so much I bought a second one.
Pros: Great capacity, durable
Cons: Heavy when full
This feeder is excellent for anyone who has a bunch of birds. It is sturdy and it holds a lot of feed. I found it to be a bit heavy when full but it is manageable. The feeder is adjustable so you can manage the flow of feed depending on whether you are using crumble or pellets. I hang my feeder outside and was concerned about the feed getting wet. I drilled a small hole in a trash barrel lid and ran the hangar line through it. It looks much like a squirrel baffle but works great as a rain hood and keeps the food dry during all but the most heavy downpours.

Pros: Good capacity and it works well.
Cons: Can't observe water level
I bought this waterer to replace a top fill plastic waterer that I disliked. I should have bought this one first and saved my money. This waterer is as sturdy as any other on the market. Although you can't see the water level from outside, I don't really have an issue with this since I like to issue fresh water daily anyway. It is easy to use once it is set on level ground. I used cement blocks that are set into the ground a few inches as the base. I don't carry the waterer to fill it. I use a 5 gallon pail to refill it since it seems a bit less unwieldy to carry.

Pros: Large capacity
Cons: Must be completely level, requires regular maintenance or it leaks
I bought this waterer when I moved my pullets from the brooder to the coop. I liked the idea that it was a top fill and it seemed like a good design. Right from the start I found that if it wasn't completely level it would drain the reservoir. I fixed that issue to find that it still leaked. I reread the directions and troubleshooting on the side and found that I had to take it apart and ensure no debris in the float chamber. This seemed to fix the issue for a while. Then it started leaking again. I took it apart again and found that the float is not sealed and water had seeped in making it less buoyant and causing it to leak again. I emptied the float and reassembled the thing. This only seemed to be a temporary fix as it continued to seep water into the top of the float. I gave up with this waterer and went back to the old fashioned double wall metal ones that I am familiar with.
Update: After contacting the company, the owner responded to my question with troubleshooting tips. When that did not resolve the issue he was gracious enough to send replacement parts. The waterer now works flawlessly. Just needs to be kept level. The customer support was outstanding with this company and I would recommend them if just for this fact.
