I love the bantam cochins because of how petite they are. Just little balls of feathers. They are so sweet and have the best personalities, especially as pets. They are also great moms and come in a wide array of colors. Can't say enough great things about this breed. They are pretty dependable layers, but do like to go broody and are very serious about it. Highly recommend this breed, especially for families with children. The roosters are generally very kind and not aggressive towards humans and their hens.
