I installed this door in both my coops last month. I love them!! In the summer, when the sun rises at 430, or in the winter when I need time to shovel to them, they have access to their runs without waiting on me. Fabulous Fabulous Fabulous!!
Cons: leaks, rusts, froze in spite of sitting on heating base
I bought one in Sept and it worked fine until Dec. As long as it was hanging from a hook, it didn't leak. The minute I had to place it on the heating base, it leaked consistently all over the coop floor until it was empty. Extremely inconvenient when the snow is 5' high and the temp is zero degs and I have 2 gals of water soaking the floor and shavings. I've since stored it away and am using large non-tipping dog dishes on heated bases and this worked so much better. Would not recommend this product.
