Our BSL, Pepper is cheeky and sweet. She lays medium brown eggs (she is only new to laying, so suspect they will get bigger). She is a steady layer 5-6 a week, even at this early stage of her laying life.
She does babble a bit. I call it her talk. She has a cute squeaky voice. She isn't just a chicken to us, she is part of the family. She lets us know what is going on and loves human attention.
