Pros: Freindly, adorable, bearded, fluffy, ect.
Cons: None so far!
I love my little Favie! Her name is Sammy-Ella, although we mostly just call her Sammy, which fits her pretty well! She's so freindly and sweet! I love how when their run their feathers on their toes makes their feet look giant :) She's just 17 weeks, so I'm sure how well she lays.

I would love to get another if I could!!

Pros: Beautiful, quiet, good egg layer, freindly
They're so pretty! Mine is a silver laced- she lights up the flock! I got her as an adult, but her previous owner also spoiled her, and so she is super freindly. I would say Wyanodottes aren't naturally lap chickens like brahama's or silkies, but if you give them alot of attention and treats they're just as freindly as one!

Pros: Freindly, quiet, great egg layer, colorful eggs, not flighty, ect..
Cons: Umm....
I LOVE my girl! She is very pretty- lavender grey with red leakadge. I did not raise her from a chick but she is definitally my favorite girl- a lap chicken, and comes running for treats! She's very pretty too! She lays a beautiful green/blue egg. Although I only got her a few days ago, apparentally she is a prolific layer. Easter Eggers are fantastic birds! She is freindlier than my red and black sex links!

Pros: Freindly, productive, pretty
Cons: Loud
I have one. She's not as flightly as her BFF, a Red Star, but she's friendlier than the black stars and our white leghorn! They're really sweet, and great layers! A must have!

Pros: Good layers, not too flightly, pretty, sex-linked
Cons: Black Star's LOUD!
I love my Red Star. She is very sweet, freindly, a good layer, even at SEVEN years old!

My Black Star's on the other hand...

Are not very freindly and are LOUD! One of them started crowing. Yes, I'm sure it was a hen, as she was black with gold hackles, and I have seen her lay an egg. I know she was trying to crow but it came out more as a bloodcurtling shriek that would rouse everybody in the neighborhood. She even did it once and 2:30 A.M! It was a horrible noise! We gave her away to a good home- pretty much the only thing we miss is her big double yolkers; she was a great layer! We have another black star who is pretty quiet and small- we like her okay. However she had a VERY loud egg song.

So if you live in a urban area like I do; beware the black stars.

Leghorn

Pros: Pretty
Cons: Flighty, jumpy, gets dirty, very slow to mature, not social, loud
My leghorns is terrified of everything. She's unsocial with the other chickens too. She is thirty weeks and has not yet layed. She is a pet and is pretty, but our experiance with her has not been good. If your looking for a pet go with something like a sex linked breed, a cochin, or a silkie. Her feathers also get dirty whenever it rains.
