I purchased a Resort Coop end of last Summer from Urban Northern. So far I have actually been very happy with it. I added my own run. My hens are happy and laying, and get let out a few days a week for free roaming. But overall for the price I paid the and ease of getting and assembling this coop, I give it a thumbs up.
Can anyone give me any pointers for winterizing next winter? This year I added in a infrared heating pad, all seemed to go well. But in the MidWest I think extra added winterizing next year may give me more of a peace of mind.
