I'm kind of torn on my Easter Eggers. We got them to try to get some colored eggs and add some variety to our new flock, and though we're yet to see any eggs from them, I'm not certain I'd get them again. They're very prone to being pushed around by my Buff Orpingtons, and they tend to just hide in the coop a lot. Whenever we enter the run, they always run off to hide, and they're usually just sort of peeking around where they can barely see us. However, when we bring out the treat cup with scratch grains, they'll eat from our hands and once, one will sat on my lap like we were best friends. Generally, though, they tend to keep to themselves. Birds of a feather flock together, as they say.
I enjoy having the color variety in my flock, but I sort of feel bad for them always being pushed around. Perhaps if I had a flock of all EE's it'd be a different story.
