I personally think that some of mine were sick to begin with. I had no "inbetweens" in mine. They were either weak and dying or running around doing fine. And even ones I doctored and that seemed to be doing fine died within 2 days.
So far I haven't lost anymore since Sunday. And I got more TSC chicks. 9 black australorps since they were one of the breeds I ordered. I may be getting some more buff orps Friday too
The gang
And look at this wittle face
Yes all of them were PO chicks. I haven't lost a single TSC chick ever. The brooder is made of plywood on the sides and bottom and OSB on the top. It's been real easy to keep warm and at night I have a board to cover some of the wire at night
Here's some pics
My brooder. One of the lids still needs put on. There is two seperate sections but there's a door that can be opened between them too
And the survivors and TSC chicks

Yes the little TSC chick is doing well. She sticks out like a sore thumb in the brooder though because she is the smallest and she doesn't have a single feather or bit of fuzz on her backside. I've been cleaning the area with warm water and putting neosporin on it because they're were a couple...
I know it sucks when you spend so much time on them and they don't make it. I've had it happen to several with this secret. Thanks for the encouragement and I'm sorry for your losses
I haven't used an eye dropper but all of the chicks waterers have sav a chick in them and I've been dipping the hospital chicks beaks in water frequently and they do drink. I've also been giving them watered down yolk. They mostly seem weak but they can stand. Even though they are wobbly and...
Well this just proves that ordering alot at one time doesn't really help much considering I ordered 31 and they added two extra and 21 died.
The 10 that were healthy this morning are doing well and went to the outdoor brooder with the TSC chicks earlier today. I still have 2 hospital chicks in...
