I usually harvest cockerels around 16 weeks, they aren't that bad compared to over a year.
One of the hatcheries, on the east coast, sold ranger males cheap.. because they said they had a standing order for only pullets from a fancy restaurant supplier.
Usually meat bird males are more than pullets

If I had it I would get vaccinated birds
If I didn't have it I would never get vaccinated birds. I mainly hatch my flocks eggs and I don't think that would work with it in the flock.
All should be vaccinated or none
