They were shipped within Texas. Temperature was about 75-90F when shipped and yes these are some pictures before their beaks started coming off. The brooder is an old bathtub so I don't think they could've broken it on that
I have nine turkey poults and I've noticed their toe nails and beaks are falling off. They weren't clipped as babies and they're broad breasted. Wondering what this is. They seem perfectly healthy otherwise
The top and sides are covered with wood. They will have a smaller nighttime crate to go in, in my RV when I'm gone and when it's nighttime. I also have three livestock guardian dogs that patrol 24/hr. I will be adding hardware cloth on the bottom.
I am having to separate my girls since they are being hurt. My other fence is broken and if I let them free range they will be eaten. Will an 8x10 all day coop be okay until I can get rid of some boys? I'm thinking it'll be a few months before I can. I will be giving them fresh hay, grass and...

Thank you! I think it's worth to note he was emaciated when I got him as well. He did gain weight and was a healthy weight until he suddenly lost a bunch. This was his liver, I am not educated really enough to tell if anything was wrong. It had a green sack on it which I assume is normal. (It's...
Any hypothesis on what could've caused this? Swollen gizzard, shrunken and purple heart, pale organs, and extremely underweight. There was no fat anywhere on him including his heart. He ate plenty, but started collapsing every month until he suffered a seizure and died. He was a rescue and...
Thanks! I got him to eat. He's doing much better now. I got him stabilized enough to blow dry. He's able to stand now and his legs are more orange but he cannot fully open his wings. I warmed up the bathroom also. I'll be keeping a close eye on him
